Measuring for blinds with Confidence

Measuring for blinds needs to be accurate,
but don’t panic!

Measuring is relatively straightforward and accurate by using a metal tape measure.

In measuring for blinds, first decide if you want your blinds installed within the window opening (Reveal Fit) or on your wall/architrave (Face Fit).  The most common fitting is Reveal Fit for a neater look, but make sure you have enough depth to allow the product to fit and operate correctly.  Use a Face Fit if you want your blind to hang outside the window recess, or when the opening is too shallow or the window is significantly out of square. Then use our below Measuring Guides in measuring for blinds with advice on how to measure and report accurately. Lastly, send us your measurements for a quick quote within two business days.
